Seth is from Seattle, which is Washington State’s largest city. In comparison to Žilina, in Seattle they have the Pacific Ocean and genuinely allot more water interacting with the environment as in Slovakia, where we have more mountains. Seattle is mostly known for smoked salmon and coffee. Even a genre called grunge has its roots in that city. When he was younger he was also playing music. The music scene in Seattle is very vibrant, there are so many opportunities to see every kind of music everyday of the week. Seth travelled a lot around the world. He first came to Žlina in winter; his first impression of the people was that they are very active outdoors – that we have a very active culture which likes to interact with the environment. Some of the things he misses is for example their american BBQ or the beach. Seth is a part of the outdoor and climbing community. He does rock climbing and found new friends and new climbing partners. He met his wife in China and spent the first 3 years of their relationship touring around Hong Kong. His wife is an acrobat and from Žilina. He worked for a circus show, but because of covid 19 his work in the entertainment industry has stopped. Žilina has been his home for 2 years now and he is teaching here because it’s something he is interested in.
