Study transport – excursion

Today we are with the pupils 8. and 9th grade traveled to Vrútok for an event called “Study transport” We tried “drunken glasses”, crash simulator at 30km speed, fire equipment, a number of quizzes, games from different areas of transport. We got acquainted with the workings of trains, we looked in detail into locomotives, cranes, and the workings of air transport. The event was organised by the Ministry of Education in cooperation with secondary schools specialising in transport. Once again, it was confirmed that learning through play and the opportunity to try things out in practice is ideal for introducing pupils to a variety of topics in the field of careers guidance. These events are a great help in choosing a future profession.
