The main objective of the work of the Environmental Education Coordinator is to raise the environmental awareness of teachers and pupils, to educate and train pupils to be sensitive and receptive to environmental problems, to create and develop practical skills of pupils in the protection and improvement of the environment.

The prevention of socially pathological phenomena is one of the main educational priorities of the school. The educational process will focus on promoting quality of life, pro-social orientation of the individual, healthy lifestyle, mental health support and protection of one’s own health. The prevention activities and activities of the Prevention Coordinator will also focus on cross-cutting themes of the school curriculum:
The main mission of the Prevention Coordinator is to implement activities aimed at building a preventive environment and behaviour towards socio-pathological phenomena that affect and negatively influence the upbringing, education and personality of children and youth. It also focuses on building a positive school climate and culture, which has a significant impact on the elimination of the above-mentioned phenomena. The Prevention Coordinator’s work plan is entitled “From the depths to the surface”, which symbolises the idea of all actors working together both within and outside the school environment, and also reflects the role of the Prevention Coordinator – to be the actor who can help “get from the depths to the surface”. It is based on the comparison to a pod of dolphins:
“if the group members see, realize that their individual is weak and cannot swim to the surface , they under-swim him and push him to the surface so he can breathe.”
