Olympics on natural and technological threats

12.03.25 Three of our ninth graders participated in the Olympiad on Natural and Technological Threats. This international competition, organised under the auspices of EUR-OPA, was aimed at raising awareness of risks such as forest fires, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, chemical accidents and climate crises. Competitors took an online quiz based on material from BeSafeNet.net to demonstrate their knowledge of disaster prevention and protection.

This year, more than 680 teams, more than 2,700 students and more than 350 schools from 11 different countries took part in the challenge and competed with incredible enthusiasm! 🌍🏆https://olympiad.besafenet.net/results?competition_id=71
Although we did not place in the top positions, every participation is a valuable experience and it is important that we participated and represented our school. Next time we can try to move even higher!
