Ninth graders know how to talk

In the times of ancient Greece and Rome, oratory was considered an art and became an essential component of education. Today, 7 brave orators successfully completed a week-long quest by ninth graders to become, for a while, a charismatic master of oratory who can captivate an audience with an engaging speech. We chose one of the topics – addictive substances, sports, beverages, food, geography of the Slovak Republic. We studied the available information, prepared a speech. We found out that standing behind the lectern is not easy. We learned many interesting facts about chocolate, classical and fin swimming, water slalom, adrenaline cycling, we tasted kombucha. The winners were decided by the audience and the jury. The sweet reward made everyone happy. Winners
