Logic Olympiad

In April, our school held the school round 11. Logic Olympiad in category B (5th – 9th grade). It is a nationwide Olympiad of pupils with general intellectual talent, organized by the Centre for Educational and Psychological Counselling Sabinov . Its main idea is to bring together pupils with intellectual talents with the aim of a common (nationwide) activity – the Logical Olympiad, which will test their knowledge and skills in logical thinking, spatial reasoning, mathematical reasoning and verbal thinking. Several pupils were successful solvers. 1st place went to Janka Ďuračíková, 2nd place to Matej Zajac, 3rd place to Filip Krutil, 4th place to Tamarka Trippé and 5th place to Alex Lichner. Congratulations to all of them for the great performance and the first two will advance to the national finals, which will take place at the University of Prešov in May.
