Students of VIII.EA were given the task by the teacher of civics Pastorkova to prepare a project in two groups and at the same time to introduce the courtroom and the court proceedings. The project serves as a continuation of the law and legal standards curriculum. They were divided into two groups: boys and girls.
Domestic violence was a social issue in the girls’ court proceedings.
The plaintiff, Mrs. Javorova (Zuzka Janurova), a teacher, brought charges against her father, Mr. Jozef Dorkovsky (Dora Zorkovská), for violence against his daughter, Nikola. Ms. Maple, as Nicole’s teacher, has noticed this problem, and so the trial proceeds in an interesting way, with the defense attorneys, witnesses, and the judge all taking the stand.
The theme of the trial for boys is quite different from that for girls. The boys are solving the problem of damage to someone else’s property, more specifically breaking a window. The plaintiff, Mr. Milan Kuric (Milan Kuric), a teacher, filed the charge against the defendant, Mr. Jakub Koleno (Jakub Koleno), who is his pupil. Milan Kuric claims that Jakub broke a window in the classroom. However, Jakub responds to this suggestion with the argument that he did not break the window. Throughout the trial, the defendants, the witnesses and also the judge make interesting appearances.
Pupils of our class successfully presented stimulating projects and were rewarded with 1 from the teacher Iveta Pastorkova.
