This is how it was done in our school – to build a Maypole for all girls, pupils and students. Members of the folklore ensemble Lienka prepared a short programme with singing and dancing, decorated the maypole with beautiful colourful ribbons and set up the maypole in front of the school building to the accompaniment of music. Of course, without the expert help of Mr. the janitor Vladek Melišík, the founder Mgr. Ivan Fiala couldn’t do it. Thank you also for the musical accompaniment of Mr. Mgr. Janka Hriankova.
May this tradition last as long as possible.
