International Compost Awareness Week is the largest and most comprehensive educational initiative on composting. Its aim is to work together to raise public awareness of why we should compost bio-waste and use compost to improve soil quality. It takes place every year during the first full week of May, this year on the 5th. – 11. May. Each year has a different theme, this year’s theme is: Compost…Nature’s Climate Champion.
