The excursion to Mellifera![🐝]()
apiary in Žilina was an incredible experience. We were accompanied by Mr. Michal, who introduced us to the apiary and shared information about the world of bees. Behind the University of Žilina they take care of several bee colonies and try to benefit people, bees and nature.
During the excursion we had the opportunity to see bees live, taste honey, propolis, we learned what is a spacer, and we got acquainted with other beekeeping supplies. Everyone felt enriched by the new knowledge and appreciated the opportunity to get involved in protecting these important ecosystem creators. But even our pupils did not let themselves be embarrassed.
